Incheon International Airport will present a special performance to travelers during the golden holidays in the first week of May. The ‘Golden Week Amazing Korea Concert’ will be held at 4 p.m. for 1 hour from May 1 to 5 at Millennium Hall on the first floor of Incheon International Airport. Diverse genres such as the original sound tracks (OSTs) from Korean dramas, popera, orchestra, Korean traditional music and dance will be available for viewing to every visitor at no cost.
On May 1, ‘The Ten Tenors’, an Australian classical crossover group that captivated over 90 million audiences across the world, will present a powerful live performance including movie OSTs, jazz and pop music.
On May 2, ‘Novus String Quartet’ (won first prize in the 11th Mozart International Concours) and the ‘Trio Jade’ (piano trio that ranked third place in the 9th Schubert International Chamber Music Concours) will be performing.
On May 3, for those visiting during the Golden Week in Japan and national holidays in China, Singer Lyn (winner of the OST Award at the 50th Baeksang Art Awards) and vocalist Kim Tae-woo, a vocalist with a powerful voice, will perform OSTs from various Korean dramas such as ‘My Love from Another Star’ and ‘Iris’.
On May 4, there will be traditional dance performance with costumes designed by Jeong Gyeong-hi and choreography by Lee Jong-ho, the choreographer at the National Gugak Center.
On May 5, top Korean traditional musician Sohn Yang-hi and a group of Korean traditional artists will perform vocal music, folk songs, chamber music.
