"Book Reading Seoul Plaza" is an open library where anyone visiting Seoul Plaza can freely borrow and read various themed books on the lawn curated by the Seoul Library. On weekdays, it serves as a healing space in the city for nearby office workers, and on weekends, it is a place for parents and children to enjoy a happy reading culture. Visitors can lie on beanbags placed on the lawn to read or relax while gazing at the sky. Additionally, in areas set up as cultural and recreational spaces within nature, visitors can watch movies or performances and experience pop-up booths.
Especially after sunset, the “Outdoor Night Library” opens, allowing visitors to enjoy reading in the cool evening breeze. They can savor an emotional and unique night of reading under the stars or watch various genres of movies at the Grass Theater, which screens films on the last Sunday of every month.
