Seoul Battleship Park, located in Mangwon Hangang Park in Mapo-gu, is Seoul's first naval-themed park. It features a permanent exhibition of three decommissioned naval ships, including the Frigate Seoul, which served for 30 years protecting the nation's seas, the Patrol Killer Medium, and the Dolphin-class submarine. Visitors can view naval vessels in person and enjoy a picnic in the grassy park, serving as both an educational site for peace and security and a relaxing space for citizens.
This fall festival celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Seoul Battleship. It will feature a variety of activities, such as a “Naval Culture Experience” reflecting the park's unique theme, a “Dance Contest” and a “K-POP Culture Concert” for the MZ generation, and a “Dokdo is Our Land” flash mob with citizens. We hope you enjoy a special day at Seoul Battleship Park, filled with exciting things to see and do!
