The 22nd King Jeongjo led the late Joseon Dynasty into a cultural golden age and achieved great revival. The reenactment of King Jeongjo's Royale Parade, which recreates the most grandiose king's happy procession, will happen in October 2022, closer to the original date of the Eulmyonyun Hwaseong Procession (February 1795.) King Jeongjo's Royale Parade, also called Eulmyonyun Hwaseong Procession, which reproduces the historical heritage of the royal family, was a large-scale king's procession held for a total of eight days from February 9 to 16, 1795, to commemorate the 60th birthday of his mother, Lady Hyegyeong. The reenactment of King Jeongjo's Royale Parade is a festival that splendidly reproduces the original and majestic Eulmyonyun Hwaseong Procession in collaboration with Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Suwon, and Hwaseong.
