The Seoul Archives has prepared an interactive exhibition for children, “The Twisting Record Exploration”, designed to help them easily and enjoyably experience records. The exhibition is divided into three main sections. Part 1, “From Memory to Record”, allows visitors to explore various methods of remembering, learn about recording tools, and understand different types of records. Part 2, “Record Exploration”, features an interactive experience where participants can examine records of Seoul and their records and even build landmarks based on the records held by the Seoul Archives. Part 3, “The Record Keepers”, introduces the roles of record researchers and preservation scientists who collect and preserve records. As a specialized public archive, the Seoul Archives not only collects and preserves Seoul's records and residents' memories but also strives to provide diverse record information services. We hope this children’s interactive exhibition will inspire more citizens to take an interest in records and actively participate in the documentation world.
