Samgaksan Geumam Art Museum, located in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, is hosting an art exhibition for children from July 10 to September 22 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Eunpyeong History & Hanok Museum. This diverse exhibition features 18 works from the current revised elementary school art textbooks for grades 3 to 6, including paintings, photographs, installations, sculptures, and media art. The exhibition is divided into six themed spaces. In the first space, "Absorbed into White Paper," visitors can enjoy portraits, nature, landscapes, and still-life paintings that emphasize the material properties of ink and paper. This space features works by Kim Seok, Yoon Byung-rak, Haru.k, and Hong Beam. In the second space, "Click! Capturing Everything," visitors can appreciate uniquely staged photographs that go beyond the traditional functions of photography, featuring works by Koo Sung-yeon, Won Seong-won, and Yoon Jung-mi. In the third space, "The Ever-Reproducing Spirit of the Artist," you will find media artworks by Lee Lee-nam and Lee Jae-hyung that highlight light and movement. The fourth space, "Art by My Side," features three-dimensional paintings by Yoon Suk-nam inspired by daily life events. The fifth space, "Layering Dreams and Hopes," presents oil and acrylic paintings by Kang Ik-jung, Kwon Ki-soo, Kim Duk-ki, Park Jung-yong, and Lee Man-ik, offering inspiration and empathy to many living in modern society. The sixth space, "Wow! The Transformation of Materials," showcases works by Kim Eun-hyun, Kim Hyun-joon, and Ji Yong-ho, who transform everyday materials into the main subjects of their art.
