Superior Gallery has curated the exhibition 《Gesture Beyond the Canvas》 for July 2025. This exhibition demonstrates how brushstrokes, the fundamental element of painting, can function as a creative language with the power to lead artistic innovation, rather than merely being simple techniques or traces. The 《Gesture Beyond the Canvas》 exhibition focuses on the experimental spirit and creative acts of three artists who break away from the conventional framework, where traditional brushstrokes remain confined to reproduction, and attempt new expressions and reinterpret nature. Artists Kwon Jae-na, Lee Chae, and Choi Je-i each convey their artistic philosophy through their works, employing different perspectives and original brushwork.
