The “Sandbox” building, which is called Korea’s Silicon Valley in the drama, is the Oil Tank Culture Park located in Sangam-dong. The facility was once home to the tanks that stored the month’s supply of oil for Seoul residents, and the facility was transformed into the complex cultural space of Oil Tank Culture Park through urban regeneration. The five tanks were transformed into a cultural space and the iron plates of the dismantled tanks were made into communal areas while the natural outdoor space was made into a cultural plaza where children can play. Fairs, exhibitions, concerts, workshops, and a variety of other cultural events are constantly held at Oil Tank Culture Park. The venue with the rusty, broken oil tanks that create a strangely wild and rustic atmosphere is famous as the filming location in other television programs like “Hangout with Yoo” and “Begin Again.”

Hapjeongdon appeared in the drama as the buksik (street food) restaurant run by Seo Dal-mi’s (Bae Suzy) grandmother when Dal-mi was young and the site of the mailbox where Han Ji-pyeong (Kim Seon-ho) and Dal-mi exchanged letters. This is the very spot where the complicated love triangle between Seo Dal-mi, Nam Do-san, and Han Ji-pyeong began. This is one of the most important locations for the development of the drama. Different from the fairytale-like atmosphere portrayed in the drama with beautiful cherry blossom trees, Hapjeongdon is a themed restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is packed with figures and toys that reflect the taste of the owner as well as autographs and photos of celebrities who have visited this hot place in Hapjeong-dong. The top-quality short loin and Korean skin-on pork belly and pork shoulder are the restaurants signature menu items. The flavors of the meat enjoyed in the unique mood in the music room, kidult room, and antique room of the restaurant are absolutely exquisite.
