This is the place where the Refund Sisters members, Jimmy Yoo, and the managers first heard the final recording of their song and tried on outfits for the stage. The eye-catching venue with an interior design resembling a public bath is “Haenghwatang,” which was an actual public bath frequented by residents of Ahyeon-dong for over forty years starting in 1958. After its closure in 2008 due to redevelopments in its vicinity, the public bath was reborn as a complex culture and art space in 2016. The past of removing dirt from the body at the public bath was transformed into an art space where visitors can remove dirt from their souls as a café that sells coffee and beverages as well as a gallery and stage for concerts and exhibitions. The café fully preserved bath time with the faded crimson walls, broken square tiles, worn ceiling frames, etc. The Haenghwa Ade, made from homemade apricot preserves, and the Haenghwa Tea are the café’s signature menu items. There are also fun and popular drinks like the Banana Bath Milk and Lower-Body Bath Latte.
