The Hanok Tea House is a traditional tea house located in Insadong. As a cafe created by renovating a hanok, it exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere unique to this type of architecture. At the heart of the cafe lies a picturesque courtyard, while the interior is thoughtfully decorated to harmonize with the hanok style. The traditional ondol rooms offer floor seating alongside regular tables in the main hall, providing a more relaxed and comfortable experience.
As an authentic traditional tea house, its signature offerings include rich, deep-flavored teas meticulously brewed over time. The menu also features a variety of conventional Korean desserts, such as Gotgam (dried whole persimmon), Injeolmi (bean-powder-coated rice cake), Honey Hotteok (honey-filled pancake), Baekseolgi (snow white rice cake), and Yakgwa (honey cookie). In the summer, they also serve Patbingsu (shaved ice with red bean topping) and mango bingsu.
