Chungsoojang, which opened in 1984, is the best restaurant in Jeongneung. Chungsoojang’s main dish is, without a doubt, ‘chungsoo grilled pork galbi.’ The grilled pork galbi cooking and eating methods are different from usual. The meat is usually marinated in seasoning, which softens the original texture and flavor.
To preserve the meat’s texture and taste, Chungsoojang grills it immediately without marinating it in a special 'black sauce.' The grilled meat is then dipped into that 'black sauce' and eaten. This sauce can only be enjoyed at Chungsoojang. The salty and somewhat spicy taste gently stimulates the palate, and the sweetness and bitterness linger tantalizingly in the mouth.
