Lee Frameshop(Daesung Pyo Gusa) has been operating in Itaewon for 50 years. The first owner of Lee Frameshop studied frame in Insadong before settling in Itaewon in 1971 and starting the shop. In the 70s and 90s, he sold paintings to US military units and foreign embassies, and exported stools and folding screens to the US and other countries. In recent years, the shop has been run by the second generation of the family, and its clientele has expanded to include foreigners interested in Korean culture. When you enter the shop, you will find a variety of colorful paintings, including folk paintings and folk customs, so feel free to take a look around.
