The striking exterior of the church, which seems to have popped up out of a fairy tale, captures the attention of passersby. Construction of this building took approximately a hundred years and it was finally completed in 1996.
Myeongdong Theater, opened as Myeongchijwa(Movie Theater) in 1936, is a performance hall that has played an important role in modern Korean theater ar ts as the performance hall of the National Theater Company from 1957 to 1975. You can discover the traces of those times in the building.
