Eunhwadang In this new hanok that is constructed in a traditional way, guest rooms are ready to accommodate families, couples, friends, and women travelers who want a comfortable stay. Eunhwadang is made of Korean land pine, which emits a clean and fresh fragrance of pine tree. As a one-story building, Eunhwadang has the house structure that is the same as that of old houses, letting people of all ages from children to the elderly enjoy. At the large garden beside the house, you can listen to the clear sound of a stream and watch Bukhansan Mountain. Nearby, there are Dulle-gil Walking Trail, Hanok Museum, Three Authors’ Gallery, and thousand-year-old Jingwansa Temple. Also, there is the National Museum of Korean Literature that was lately established, which will let visitors have a variety of experiences after parking their cars.

Todaki Guest House Todaki hanok Guest House is located next to Choong Ang High School in Gye-dong, Jongno-gu, which was a setting of a famous Korean soap opera, Winter Sonata. “Todak” in Korean means patting. As the name suggests, Todaki is a snug hanok with congenial atmosphere. There are lovely flowers in the small garden tended beside the gate, and when you come into the gate, you can see the yard floored with gravels. The lighting directly bought by the host who sought for one that won’t harm the atmosphere of a hanok and a special door that can improve the insulation and privacy, the weak points of a hanok, are installed.

Simsanjae Simsanjae was established in the 1940s as a hanok for living. It shows the appearance of common houses in the 1980s-90s in South Korea. Owner Kim Ih-rye, who goes by the pen name Simsan, serves as president of the Korean Tea Ceremony Association and associate professor at the Federation of Korean Tea Masters Society, giving lectures actively. Interested guests can listen to a special lecture during their stay at Simsanjae.
