The Perfect balance of nature and urbanity
SUMSEI TERRARIUM
The trendy neighborhood of Seongsu-dong is popular among locals as it blends both an urban and vintage atmosphere. And located in this area is SUMSEI TERRARIUM, situated by Seoul Forest, the first placed SUHO visited in the area where he was impressed by the nature-inspired exterior design.
SUMSEI TERRARIUM is a space embodying nature in a virtual reality experience where visitors can enjoy a sensory experience from the natural surroundings a terrarium that runs from the first basement floor to the fourth-floor rooftop. See the virtual aurora, which SUHO found very real, and tred along barefoot through the sand and mud, while feeling the fog, wind, and lighting as if you’re in a real forest. After touring the nature-filled space, take a quick break with a cup of aromatic tea and take some Instagrammable pictures on the rooftop.

My favorite celebrity’s favorite eatery
ZESTY SALOON
Most buildings in Seongsu-dong have been renovated to bring some new life into the now youthful district. ZESTY SALOON Seongsu, which is one of SUHO’s favorite eateries, is also a two-story house that has been renovated with a classic American style interior design. The restaurant, which can be easily spotted thanks to its exotic exterior design and large signboard, is a handcrafted burger shop that has a cozy and welcoming indoor space and an outdoor terrace seating area.
Besides the wasabi shrimp burger and zesty garlic burger recommended by SUHO, there are other popular menu items, including the american cheese and chipotle chilli burgers, as well as various sorts of fries and drink selections. The wasabi shrimp burger, which is the signature burger here, was the best burger that SUHO has ever eaten in his life. Drop by the ZESTY SALOON Seongsu if you want to check out SUHO’s favorite burger.

Always full of life & romance
Ttukseom Hangang Park
Ttukseom Hangang Park, which SUHO used to visit often for a breather, is equipped with a soccer field, basketball courts, gateball fields, artificial climbing wall, and X-games facilities. In particular, the X-games facilities are popular among those who enjoy extreme sports, and SUHO also spend some time here learning how to skateboard. Skateboards can be purchased or rented from Boardkorea Ttukseom branch located just a few minutes from the park.
You can also enjoy windsurfing and other water sports such as water skiing at the Ttukseom Hangang Park in the summer. Take part in exciting and energetic activities while feeling the cool river breeze to stay refreshed in this hot season. Don’t forget to check out Ttukseom Outlook Cultural Complex for a relaxing, energy recharge.
For a fine dining & cultural experience
Andaz Seoul Gangnam
SUHO stayed at Andaz Seoul Gangnam, a 5-star luxury hotel located in the Apgujeong neighborhood that boasts commanding city views, to spend a pleasant night. Connected directly from the Apgujeong subway station, Andaz Seoul Gangnam features modern luxury interior finished with a large selection of gallery artwork.
Andaz Seoul Gangnam has various rooms, including deluxe and premium rooms, as well as suites where SUHO stayed. A fitness center and a massive indoor swimming pool, featuring a large screen showing stunning scenes of Seoul elicit some beautifully charming points of this hotel. Traditional Korean specialties, such as soybean paste stew (doenjang jjigae) and grilled marinated galbi, along with other cuisines, can be conveniently ordered as room service. The Andaz Seoul Gangnam is the right place to stay if you are looking to experience culinary delights and unique fashion and beauty culture, as well as art galleries in the nearby Cheongdam and Apgujeong areas.
Your haven for vintage fashion
Omnipeople Gallery
Having passion for fashion, SUHO stopped by one of the vintage shops that he has been wanting to visit, the Omnipeople Gallery. Located near Dosan Park in the Apgujeong area, the gallery is an American vintage shop selling clothes, accessories, and small goods all related to vintage fashion.
Emanating a cozy yet classic vibe, the first floor of Omnipeople Gallery presents vintage accessories, t-shirts, outerwear, and military-inspired fashion items, while the second floor has colorful knitted sweaters, shirts, and jeans from which SUHO picked his “patiently-waiting boyfriend” outfit. Try finding your outfit of the day that suits your taste at the Omnipeople Gallery.

A slice of London in Seoul
London Bagel Museum
SUHO visited the most popular bagel place in Seoul, London Bagel Museum in Dosan. The exterior and interior of the London Bagel Museum Dosan Branch resemble a place that you can actually find on the streets on London. SUHO’s choices in this bagel specialty shop are fig bagels, onion bagels, bacon potato sandwiches, and mushroom truffle soup. There are also a variety of bagel flavors, sandwiches, cream cheese, and jams to choose from.
Besides SUHO, many TV personalities and celebrities also have been known to wait in long lines at the London Bagel Museum to try their specialty bagels. We suggest getting there early since popular items tend to sell out fast. Don't miss out on the chance to visit London Bagel Museum and try their best-selling bagels. Afterward, why not take a stroll through the nearby Dosan Park while you're at it? Come by London Bagel Museum in Anguk, if you plan on visiting Bukchon Hanok Village or Cheongdeokgugng Palace since it is in a close vicinity.

A strikingly memorable city overlook
SEOUL SKY
SUHO picked Seoul Sky at Lotte World Tower, the tallest in Korea, as the ideal spot for capturing a fantastic view of the city. SEOUL SKY is the tower's observatory that boasts a 360-degree panoramic view of Seoul.
Both the Sky Deck and the Sky Bridge Tour will provide a thrilling experience as if you're literally taking a "sky walk", and there are also facilities that feature engaging digital content. Be sure to check out other floors for cafés, lounges, and more things to enjoy. A visit to Seoul Sky is sure to keep your mood heightened.
