'Kimchi', a representative traditional fermented food of Korea and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, is selected as one of the world's top food museums by CNN. At the 'Museum KIMCHIKAN,' you can experience the kimchi and fermentation culture, and immerse yourself in the cultural sentiments of Korea. 

Along with the museum tour to learn about Korea's culture of fermentation, you will be able to taste various types of kimchi. Experience the art of making kimchi with expert kimchi instructors (Kimjang culture) and take home your own homemade kimchi.

• ●Eligibility: Open to all foreign tourists visiting Seoul

• ●Date/Time: Every second Tuesday of the month at 14:00, lasting approximately 90 minutes

  [Attention for K-Kimchi Museum Tour Participants]

• ●Please check the ingredients used in the kimchi making class, as tomatoes and shellfish (shrimp paste, seafood, etc.) are used. It is recommended to confirm the ingredients of the food before applying for the kimchi tour. Participation depends on individual judgment based on allergies and health conditions. If you have any health concerns or ingredients you need to avoid, please consult with the operating office (hallyuseoul@gmail.com) in advance.

• ●Infants and children can participate only if accompanied by a guardian. Solo participation of children is not allowed.

• ●Each participant will make approximately 400g of kimchi, and the necessary tools will be provided on-site.

• ●Program applications can be submitted starting four weeks before the program date.

• ●Each individual should submit one application form per person.

• ●If the number of program applicants exceeds 20, participants will be selected through a lottery.

• ●Applicants selected as participants will receive a participant confirmation request email 7 days before the scheduled program date. Once you respond to the email, your participation will be confirmed.

• ●Applicants who are not selected will not receive a separate email.

• ●Please carefully review the ingredients before applying as they will be prepared immediately upon confirmation.

• ●Proof of foreigner status through passport or identification card is required for program participation.

• ●To ensure smooth program operation, if you are confirmed as a participant but cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact the program office (email: hallyuseoul@gmail.com / Instagram: @seoul_hallyu).
